Born into a musical family, Chris Beaudry has been playing the saxophone since the age of nine. During high school, Chris attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts under the tutelage of tenor saxophonist, Jimmy Greene. Chris received his bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music where he studied with Billy Pierce, George Garzone, and Dave Samuels. In 2016, Chris received his master’s degree in Jazz Performance from New York University where he studied with Chris Potter, Joe Lovano, Lenny White, Stefon Harris, and many other jazz luminaries.

Chris currently lives and plays in Astoria, New York. He co-manages a new music collective with three-time grammy winning drum-icon, Lenny White, called “IYOUWE” and works as an international booking agent in addition to regularly playing gigs in and around New York City and abroad.

Chris currently performs regularly as a free lance saxophonist ranging in style from jazz to blues and pop, he also leads his own bossa nova ensemble.
